Hollywood celebrities Matt Damon and Ben Affleck will take part the World Series of Poker Ante Up For Africa tournament. This charity event will take place on July 3 in Las Vegas. This Las Vegas betting poker tournament includes many celebrities and poker pros.
The tournament was created in 2007 by Don Cheadle, Norman Epstein and poker pro Annie Duke. Duke said: “We look forward to hearing from more big names in the gaming and entertainment industries as they come on board to give their valuable time and energy and bring attention to the dire crisis taking place in areas in Africa like Darfur.”
The Ante up for Africa tournament raises funds for various charaties like the Enough Project (helps to prevent genocide). Previous celebs that participated in this poker tournament are former basketballer Charles Barkley, former boxing champion Mike Tyson, and Seinfeld star Jason Alexander.
