Who will be Larry King’s successor? Yes the King of talk show is saying adieu after twenty five years, to Larry King Live broadcasted on CNN. After interviewing possibly all the leading politicians, sports personalities and people in showbiz, Mr. King has made it public that he is leaving the show.
So how is this going to be a matter of interest for us? Well we get to bet on who the person to fill Larry’s shoes is. According to what Internet casinos have to say the first choice to replace Mr. King is thought to be Piers Morgan. Piers, is a television personality from Britain. He has also had his share of the American Media spotlight as he was one of the judges for the show “America’s Got Talent” and as a fellow contestant in the show Celebrity Apprentice. He no longer has to worry about his contracts that kept him grounded to British broadcasting as the contract is on its final stages. With a little bit of help from Simon Cowell, Morgan is speculated to be the successor with a 4-7 pick.
Considered to be the second on that list is another hostess who has her own shows in CNN’s headline news station. This would be Ms. Joy Behar. Ms. Behar, made it to the second spot with the odds at 5-1. Then comes the man who is seen nearly everywhere in American showbiz, Ryan Seacrest. And he seems to be the one Larry King announced as his selected one. Ryan is a 7-1 pick. Following Ryan Seacrest is Anderson Cooper of CNN, with the odds of 8-1.
Jon Stewart is being speculated as a successor, then comes the yet to be political candidate Lou Dobbs with the odds of 40-1. Even comedian and show host Jay Leno is speculated to be a candidate with the odds of 80-1. Now that is a real long shot.
